Simmer for 5 minutes so the aromatics infuse the broth.
Stir in the mushrooms and chili paste and cook for 3 minutes.
Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 3 minutes.
Season with fish sauce and add the crushed chilies.
Turn off the heat and stir in the fresh lime juice.
Garnish with cilantro and serve hot.
